Honey on my Mind

Honey on my Mind started off as a black and white painting- I got inspired by some ink related artwork and wanted to work on some close up figure drawing- which turned into drawing these realistic faces. Then I became interested in bees again and decided to incorporate honeycomb! I ended up adding the flowers- but I feel like the flowers are a little too light- not how I wanted them- I should have gone with blue- or something- but it came out great!
And yes- I did have to touch it up with some digital add ons- but it wasn't by much! just made the flowers brighter-
